Looked at this a few weeks ago with the intention of podcasting our guest speakers - unfortunately Cambridge Library webpage can't manage it - so we will wait until the new system is in place and try to do some podcasting then

Wrap up

mmmm Geocaching I can see this is quite popular with people and perhaps we should have one in the library.

Overall I have enjoyed the course, can't say it was all relevant but probably worthwhile.

Library thing

Know about library thing - people can let others know what is in their personal library and you can catalogue items so that others can see them :-)

taking a leaf out of someone else's blog!

OK had a quick squiz at what others have done and decided that I would summarise what I have done on my boring blog.  Hope this makes it easier for my mentor to calculate if I pass my test or not!  I have added two RSS feeds (one is attached to a news site the other is attached to a language site).  I have also added a widget for the recipes - not for me I don't ever intend to spend that much time in the kitchen as it would result in something exciting emerging from the oven and this blog is for boring.  However I thought others might like them.  I also added a nifty little questionnaire thingamy bob (sorry don't know the right terminology).  But that must have been pretty boring as no-one answered the questions.  So far I think I have surpassed my requirements except I think I have to comment on others blogs which I think I am doing by this post - let me know if I am not please.

Taking this seriously

The title of this post is boring in itself - therefore on the blog it goes.  Seriously, I have now added a widget (did not know what they were before but now do) and a gadget through the RSS feed from the ABC news site.  I really wanted the weather because lets face it, weather is pretty boring when you are getting 31 degrees every single day of the week.  Now if we could have a repeat of last year's weather with the mighty hailstorm that might not be quite so boring.  Does something become boring when it has happened more than once? I have looked at some other blogs but not a lot seems to be going on elsewhere, so will leave this wee project for a while
